Tandem speed vs. single-rider speed?07 Mar 2010 00:32 GMT1
I'm sure tandem bikes tend to have a higher speed than single-rider
bikes because there are four legs pedaling it. Yet, the bike has more
weight on it because it holds two people. So, maybe the speed is
equal?

I know it's early in the season but all the GC contenders are already
doing better than LA, that can't bode well for the TdF, might be even
more painful to watch than Merckx's 1977 last TdF...

Hey all just got my Scot Nitro 10 and I can't fit the wheels on because the
disk breaks won't open at all and seem jamed shut. I tried to 'loosen' them
but the scres simply would not move and I even hurt my hands trying to do
so.

Amazing ridership with disintegrating wheel09 Mar 2010 19:49 GMT9
Track tandem blows a front tire, and in Flintstone fashion the front
carbon fiber disc wheel  gets smaller and smaller until it looks like
they are brought down by a pedal strike.  Amazing that the captain kept
it upright as long as he did.

The problem will only get worse over time. I'm considering green
