Trek Incite 9i, but with cadence....?30 May 2008 23:57 GMT6
I have the 9i wireless, which I love, but would like to add cadence.
Love the quality and simplicity of the Trek.
Love the clean look of the wireless.
What are my options?
what's the worst riding surface?30 May 2008 21:08 GMT13
My vote is for wet shale.  I've encountered
strafications of it that are bad enough when
dry, but when moistened, all those leaflets
form a slimy external layer of mud, so they

Tandem stores in or near Eat Los Angeles County?29 May 2008 19:52 GMT2
I want to buy a tandem but I keep calling bike shops in the San
Gabriel Valley, and no one has what I want.  Everyone can offer me a
beach cruiser type tandem, but I want a real tandem.  Does anyone know
where I can find a good selection of tandems around here?  Thanks.

Touring advice, one bike or two?29 May 2008 06:28 GMT22
I'm mostly a Toronto-local road rider; I prefer longer 150+ km rides
but mostly end up doing 50k-ish rides after work. I also go on the
occasional tour; I've done the Icefields in AB (highly recommended 3-
day ride!) and the Cabot Trail (ditto) and this year I'm thinking of
What do you call "faux tandem" for kids?29 May 2008 05:54 GMT7
What do you call the attachment for a single bike that allows kids to
ride -- kids too young to pedal?
I want to do some online research, but I don't know what to google
for.  I visit a couple bicycle store web sites, to no avail.
Make Millions in Months!!!29 May 2008 05:34 GMT1
Like a lot of people, I was looking for additional income
by replying to various advertisements on the Internet and
in newspapers. Having worked most of my adult life in the
financial profession, I was very impressed by the following

Front chain ring28 May 2008 23:23 GMT4
My 62 year old legs are loosing some power and I ride hills a lot, big
hills.  I have two chain rings up front, a 50 & a 36.  I have a 10
sproket cluster in back going from 12 to 25.  I want more climbing
geers and wonder how to do it.  Should I simply go to a 42 36 chain
Help on choosing new bike28 May 2008 23:17 GMT17
There are so many different bicycle options these days that I'm
completely lost.
But before I decide on specific models I need to figure out what type
of bike I need. I've cycled when I was in my youth on a road bike
Do you see a connection b/ the generation gap and bikes?27 May 2008 22:52 GMT12
(Hey, this is getting political, but anyway the solution lies in
politics)
This is a statement I put in my webpage. I saw it all from the inside,
both in the presidential campaigns of 2000 and 2004, living close to
How bout some REAL bike lanes?27 May 2008 22:50 GMT2
I know that Sacramento County has a minimum bike lane width of 5' but
unfortunately that includes sidewalk gutter.
Who seriously is going to bike in the gutter when it means your tires
take some extra abuse.  How bout we get the full 5' minimum width of
