Say it ain't so Joe! (er Randy)29 Nov 2008 03:42 GMT17
First the Tailwind and Wave are discontinued, and now the Rocket. USians
are too prejudiced against proper sized [1] wheels for RANS to sell
their best value models. :(

Could Key West be a bike model for America?27 Nov 2008 18:09 GMT187
I'm sure many people here have been already to Key West, so we can
talk a common language. Well, for those who don't, you see a lot of
bicycles around town, with some of the major streets having bike
lanes. There's also scooters and EVs, which goes to mean that SMALL IS

Tom Sherman & Ed Dolan18 Nov 2008 08:59 GMT2
There is no one I like to pound on better than Tom Sherman. No one else is
worthy of me. I am just waiting for him to say one wrong word on the
political situation and I will go berserk. He is a far left wing liberal
screwball nut and I am a solid American Conservative. I simply ...

Say Ed....13 Nov 2008 02:02 GMT1
I was over on Granby yesterday.  Was told by one of the guys in the
bike shop that there is a place that has some photos from the '50s on
display.   Am going to try and get over there and see if I can take
some photos to send and also some current ones of what the area looks
Wendy's new recumbent cycle09 Nov 2008 16:33 GMT12
Well, it was a long wait; however, Wendy *loves* her new wheel.  She's
built by Lightfoot Cycles near Missoula, Montana.  Wendy is balance...
err... is "challenged" still PC?  (She tends to fall frequently) thus
we needed a tricycle with a low center of gravity.

Does America have the best sidewalks to ride in the world?07 Nov 2008 18:31 GMT12
Who needs bike lanes?
I guess, having sidewalk ramps just about every corner, you can cross
easily from sidewalk to sidewalk. I think they were originally
intended for wheelchairs, but I'm sure bikers outnumber handicap users
Recumbent bar-bag03 Nov 2008 19:57 GMT1
I've added a recumbent to the stable and miss having a bar bag that
clips on and off, The crossbar is half the diameter of a regular bar.
Wondering if there is a bag made for this; or a clean looking fix for my
standard quick-release bags. Thanks. harley
