What do you think?? Will we have to get a few trains?? If so, where is the best place to get them and what are the relegations in France about bringing a bike on a train. We want to cycle along the Loire Valley at some point. It's about 1000km as the crow flies

| Getting a bike out of NYC/Penn Station | 27 Apr 2005 14:45 GMT | 5 |
I may have the opportunity to take a bike to the East Coast USA by train (Amtrak). There are trains with baggage service which will deposit me, my bags, and a boxed bike in New York's Penn Station. Obviously I could assemble my bike there and start pedalling, but then I'm limited

My wife and I are going to be in Bisbee AZ near the end of May and I was hoping to hook up with a group ride either in Bisbee or close by. Is there an active cycling club in that area that I could ride with? I know the Vuelta de Bisbee will be held there next week, so I hope they

My name is Jason, I live in the U.S. and I'm planning an around-the-world trip for a charity (Oxfam). While I've never done anything long-distance like this, I've been cycling exclusively for transportation since around 1994 and I'm an improv sort of guy anyway.

| Tailwinds to Santa Cruz | 16 Apr 2005 04:55 GMT | 11 |
While most area cyclists seemed to be riding the Tierra Bella on Saturday, I recently enjoyed a fun ride from Sunnyvale, CA over the Santa Cruz Mountains to San Gregorio, south on CA1 to Santa Cruz, and then back home on CA9, Skyline, Page Mill, and Moody Roads.
