| Changing presta tubes on flat resistant tires | 30 Jul 2009 19:05 GMT | 31 |
Gatorskin type tires are a little harder for me to change than other tires. Any tips? Quickest tube swap for me has been to take the tire off the rim, stuff the new tube in the tire and mount the tire/tube starting with the presta stem.

| Clicking Bottom Bracket | 30 Jul 2009 08:14 GMT | 11 |
After breaking my Dura Ace BB7410 (8 speed) bottom bracket I rummaged around in my spare parts and came up with a World Class Ti BB that would do the trick. This was purchased used at a moment in time when I was trying to get my race bike under 18lb but for some reason the BB

| A wheel matched to only one fork-brillant! | 30 Jul 2009 06:03 GMT | 16 |
From a Velonews test of the new bicycle-yikes, design run amok. "Perhaps the main reason for the wider fork is to fit the new FCC hub with outboard J-bend spokes. Fisher didn’t exactly reinvent the wheel, but he did possibly make it stiffer. Designed in with Bontrager, the

| Price of a 2000 Trek 1000 | 30 Jul 2009 05:13 GMT | 1 |
I am thinking of getting into biking and would like to start out with a entry-level bike. I have a $325 offer for a very-little-used 2000 Trek 1000. Is that a good price for the bike? Any help is appreciated.

| recommendation for 700x28 tire with grip | 30 Jul 2009 04:32 GMT | 128 |
I don't know if dual tread tires are any good, but if they are, I am looking for one that has very sticky tread for cornering, and a durable mid-strip. Also would like pretty good low rolling resistance for a 700x28. I'm having trouble finding anything in this category that is not

| Servicing a 7sp Nexus Red hub? | 29 Jul 2009 23:41 GMT | 10 |
Picked up a Nexus 7 Red wheel. I'm very excited about it, but there's lots of drag. I know that's the rep on these, but I have another Nexus hub that's much smoother. Googled for an exploded diagram but found nada.

| Sram Triple | 29 Jul 2009 02:13 GMT | 3 |
I've been hearing rumors of a Sram triple group. Could just be rumors. Please no debate between compact gearing. I have just heard a few tweets about it and was wondering if anyone else has heard anything.
